Mission Statement
GGF’s goal is to empower young people by creating an
endowment that will make annual grants to youth-related, non-profit partners who
are seeking to improve the lives and the conditions of resource-challenged young
people around the world. Starting in June of 2011, applications will begin to be
accepted for funding for youth related programs. Awards will be issued annually
beginning in October of 2011. Please join our email list to be alerted when
grant awarding will actually begin.
The Board
GGF is currently led by Cheryl Greene, Shonn’s grandmother. The silent, but powerful and motivating force behind Shonn’s success, she has now turned her sights on helping other young people remove barriers to fulfilling their dreams.
